Tennis News
- The summer heat is surrounding us, and tennis playing can be tough this time of year. Fortunately fall play is coming, a Great time to get out on the courts. We have various teams in the neighborhood; if you are new to the neighborhood or new to tennis please contact me for more information.
- Kids Tennis lessons- We have a group of coaches from Pure Tennis doing clinics at our courts for various playing levels. Please contact Kathryn Begg for more information.
- New locks have been installed at the courts to minimize vandalization. All current HOA members can receive a key. Contact me and I will drop one off to you.
- Thanks to those who helped in the rain at the last tennis clean up day: Jeannie and Henry Beck, Mike and Peyton Daugherty, David Ulhman, Kathryn Begg, Wade and Andrea Wilson, and Jerry Hall. We pulled weeds and trimmed hedges! We would love to see some new faces--- be on the look out for a neighborhood clean-up in September to work on the general rec area including playground, clubhouse, pool area, etc. Let’s all do our part to keep everything looking great!!
- Outsiders dues are $35. These dues must be paid before a practice slot will be assigned to the remainder of the team. We have a great layout and know this minimal fee is small when providing such a great facility. Thank you captains for cooperating in enforcing this.
- Round Robin Tournaments will be Labor Day weekend. Adult play on Monday Sept 3 at 9:00 am. All levels encouraged to play! Come on out…. Kids Round Robin date and time will follow.
- Kids Tennis!!! Boys ALTA team (8-10 years) is starting it second season. Good Luck to the boys. They have improved immensely and are having fun playing the game- do you have a child that might want to play on a tennis team?
- Are you interested in a singles tennis challenge ladder for Spring Ridge neighbors? How about a women’s day league USTA team? If so, contact me.

Tennis members / teams please continue to lock the gates, turn off the lights, and pick up all of the trash after you finish playing. These are your tennis courts, clubhouse, and observation decks please help us by keeping them clean!
